Full-time Account Manager - Oil & Gas Sustainable Solutions

• Initiate & execute action items to gather information and conducts market analysis on oil & gas industry to understand the overview of their business, vision/mission, organization structure, financial strength, key decision makers/stakeholders, value chain, pain points, possible challenges and possible solution that the consultancy can offer to address the pain points.

• Conduct Rapid Voice of Customer and Rapid Value Assessment to scope out and prioritize opportunities in Indonesia and ASEAN

• Recommend potential growth opportunities to biz units and solicit their support

• Formulate strategies and tactics to build sustainable relationships with internal and external/potential customers especially at senior / management level

• Develops project proposals and plans to gain country & business supports. Executes & drives the approved plan to realize actual revenue target

• Leads the national oil company’s development activities in country to support business growth through exploring and driving cross-SBU opportunities such as but not limit to Safety Management-DSR; Transmission pipeline - Pipeline Coatings; Streamax and thermal protection garments - DPP

• Direct, manage and deploy business resources (cash, assets, information, systems and people) with optimum productivity and positive impact for new business growth.

• Ensure compliance with business conduct policy and country’s statutory requirements.


Minimum Bachelor's Degree. Preferably Master's Degree in Engineering with good background in oil & gas industry

5 years experience in managerial position preferably in oil and gas industry.

• Ability to drive new initiatives; develop projects proposal and account strategy; implementing strategic business, sales revenue and market share;
• Ability to work with process groups; network with diversified business units and ensure consensus building
• Ability to handle / connect with national oil company’s senior leadership / management level
• Solution & Result oriented with good business judgement
• Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
• Must be able to prioritize, plan, and track multiple projects and tasks at the same time.
• Must be able to easily interface between all of the different business teams (sales, marketing, logistics, operations, sourcing, customer service etc.).
• Good language / communication / presentation skill in English.

Position must resolve issues that directly impact the profitability and viability of the business as well as adherence to company policies and core values. Coordinates with functional leaders in the organisation to collect and process information and use good judgment to arrive at solutions. Position must evaluate situations, market/industry position and standards and be able to lead team to perform effectively and efficiently. Represent company position in the industries on issues that will affect the operations of business in Indonesia. Uses appropriate inter-personal style to gain commitment and agreements from individual and units that will impact the growth of the business.

Responsible for developing national oil company business opportunities in Indonesia


Key Contacts: Business leaders; Govt agencies and officials/NGO, bankers, senior leaders/management in the oil & gas industry.

Work Environment: Office work with significant travel days/year. Extensive external contacts to initiate the developmental projects with lots of meetings both internal and external.
